Admission & Financing
International Admissions and Recruiting
We welcome applications from students in the final year of secondary or high school, or after completion of secondary/high school. If you are admitted in your final year of school, we will need your final transcript when you arrive to K-State.
General Academic Requirements
- High school curriculum from an accredited secondary school.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA (Grade Point Average) on a 4.0 scale in high school coursework
Proof of English proficiency is not required for admission to most Kansas State University Undergraduate degree programs. Admissions decisions are made on the academic qualifications of the applicant. However, a few selective programs have different standards, see below.
Scholarships
International Admissions has three scholarships to offer to new undergraduate degree-seeking international students (both freshman and transfer). If you are an international student admitted to an undergraduate degree program at K-State, we welcome your scholarship application!
Self-sponsored (or family-sponsored) students paying non-resident tuition receive priority for these scholarships. Also, scholarships are granted first to Fall semester admitted students and remaining scholarships are granted to Spring semester admitted students.
